Roles and Responsibilities
Hand on experience in production environment(Oracle 9i ,10g) Hands on Installation , Upgrades & applying Hot fixes/Service Packs & Replication Good knowledge on data guard and rman, backup-recovery and Troubleshooting. Should have exposure to tools like rman, netbackup, UNIX commands, and shell scripts. Should have hands on experience in query tuning and database tuning.
Skills and Job Requirements
Graduates/Engineers with 4 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle 10g, RAC, Data Guard, Grid Control, Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, Project Managements & ITIL knowledge. Should have worked on production environment. Should be willing to work in a 24/7 environment. Preference will be given to candidates worked in banking projects / have knowledge of other RDBMS
