Citrix Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for working with project teams to gather necessary requirements for the expansion of our Citrix environment. They will also be responsible for putting together a recommended design based on the requirements and implementing the solutions if approved. Environment has multiple Citrix farms spanned across many states. Candidate will be responsible for publishing applications on the Citrix servers and testing with the users through the DEV/UAT/PROD processes. All projects will need to maintain a current status report showing the completed deliverables and outstanding deliverables. Candidate will work with the existing support team to ensure a stable environment is maintained including both pro-active monitoring and trouble ticket resolution.

Skills and Job Requirements

 A senior Citrix Administrator with 5+ yrs of Citrix experience who has excellent background in implementing the Citrix Projects  Strong Experience with Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and Citrix Presentation Server 4.5. a. Sizing b. Design c. Installation d. Application Publishing e. Printing f. Farm Maintenance (Rollup patches, etc) g. Troubleshooting / Root cause identification  Experience with Citrix Web Interface 4.5. a. Configuration b. Troubleshooting / Root cause identification  Strong Experience with Windows 2003 Server including Active Directory.  Experience with Windows 2000 Server including Active Directory.  HP hardware – preferably 385 series and 460 blade series.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Ability to work with both teams and as an individual.  Experience with Citrix within VMware is a plus.
